The Clumber Spaniel is a very large spaniel reaching a weight of over 70lbs (32kgs). He is a very active dog and needs regular exercise; he is not a dog to be kept in a small place. His main aim in life is to please his owner; he is highly intelligent and makes a wonderful companion. His coat is mainly white with either lemon or orange markings. As his featherings do grow quite long he does require a fair amount of grooming to keep him clean and tidy; he also has a tendency to slobber a fair bit. He will mix well with other dogs and is generally good natured.
