The Glen of Imaal originates from County Wicklow Ireland. He is a tough dog and is not nearly as noisy as many terriers however, his bark would deter most intruders. An active dog he enjoys a good walk with his owner. He is a gentle natured docile dog and makes a good family companion but, he does show great courage when required. His coat is blue, wheaten or brindle in colour and is of a hard texture, it does require some stripping and regular brushing by his owner. Measuring approximately 14 inches to the shoulder he is a well built sturdy dog.
