The Kerry Blue Terrier probably originated in the county of Kerry in southwest Ireland. He is an extrovert at heart and is a very spirited determined dog; he has a true terrier attitude. The coat is soft and silky, it does require considerable grooming and regular visits to the grooming salon to keep it in good order and matt free. He is quite a large dog standing approximately 19 inches to the shoulder.
