The Manchester Terrier was bred as a ratter and is still capable of doing his job today should the need arise. A handsome looking black and tan dog he is elegant, graceful and very agile. He makes an ideal house dog and is devoted to his family. With his short smooth coat he is almost maintenance free, just requiring the occasional bath to keep him smelling sweet.
He fits in well with family life, asking only for a warm bed, clean water, a bowl of food and a walk with his owners.
